At just 9 years old, TAMWEL ARTS student Ella Radbone continues to impress audiences at Country Music festivals. Over the June long weekend, Ella competed at the Barmera Country Music Talent Quest. In the Under 13 Gospel section, she was given an Encouragement Award and in the Under 13 Vocal Section she came second with “Keep on the Sunny Side”.
Her greatest achievement was being awarded first place in the Open Song Writing section with her song “Good Things”. This was up against adults and came with a cash prize of $250.
Ella also earned the Len Wakefield Memorial Award, which means $350 towards her music development, her name engraved on a perpetual trophy, and an invitation to perform at the Adelaide Country Music Club.
